Hello, thanks for your interest in Blackhawk Motors. I am the son of the owner David Haggart. I have been around this business almost my whole lifetime but this line of business wasnt my first choice. I grew up loving sports particularly football. I decided at an early age that I was going to get into education and become a teacher and a coach. I was living my dream until God had new plans for me. In 2010 I was furloughed from my teaching position due to drop in enrollment. After countless interviews I decided to make a career shift. Im not lying when I tell you it was one of the best decisions that I ever made. I get to come to work with my dad everyday, most people would butt heads with a family member but we work extremely well together. I bring a different approach to this business. I was trained to communicate effectively with people and listen to their individual needs as a teacher. I do the same here. Im not cramming salesman lingo down customers throats trying to pressure them into buying something they may not want or need. We believe our products will sell themselves although since we specialize in a certain type of vehicle we are very knowledgable with the capabilities of these trucks.
